Medhavi Foundation PMKK Silchar, Assam centre gets officially inaugurated in the auspicious presence of the MP – Dr. Rajdeep Roy, DPMT- Mr. Niloy Sinha & MLA- Mr. Dilip Kumar Paul. The students showcased great enthusiasm in exhibiting their skills to the local community and dignitaries.
Our core focus has always been practical exposure along with theoretical knowledge. During their training, the students from the Distribution Lineman trade at Medhavi Silchar visit the AEGCL plant, led by the trainer.
At the core of our training, we like to promote out of the box thinking. Taking this further, our students often come up with innovative concepts and exhibits that makes us proud and reaffirms our belief in Skill Development. One such example is of Nobokishore Das Laskar who reintroduced landline phones in his local communities with all the features of mobile phones to help the elderlies.
From time to time, centre teams of the Medhavi Foundation visit the field to understand the needs of the local communities and to spread awareness regarding the importance of Skill development in our day to day lives.
Every technical job role like Fitter / Plumber / Electrician etc. requires hands on training for safety procedures and standards. Students and trainers of Medhavi PMKK centres in action learning the nitty gritties of Safety standards and procedures.
A two days workshop on entrepreneurship and self employment was conducted at Medhavi Foundation centres in collaboration with United Bank of India’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute. Over 1000 youths from the various locations participated. In Silchar, the event was led by Shahed Choudhury, Program Coordinator at RSETI and Utpal Mukhopadhyay from Medhavi Foundation.
Kaushal Mela organised by Medhavi Foundation on 27th February at City Centre, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. Honourable MLA Shri Raj Sinha, renowned advocate Shri B.L Agarwala and the Founder Director of Medhavi Foundation Mr Pravesh Dudani inaugurated and presided over the Kaushal Mela. More than 300 youths from various parts of Dhanbad district attended the Kaushal Mela.
Jamui (Bihar) PMKK candidates of Fitter and Welder trades used their newly acquired skills to drive Tree Plantation in and around their training centre.
Commemorating the 4th anniversary of Skill India Mission, Medhavi Foundation celebrated with encouraging students to focus on cross-domain skills. Prof. Abhijit Nath graced the event at SIlchar centre where he shared the history and importance of Skills, discussing the need for innovation, in and around our lives.
At Medhavi, we believe Heroes come in all types and sizes. Emphasizing this, Medhavi Silchar family organised a Blood Donation camp where the team showcased extraordinary participation for the noble cause.
Rozgar Mela organised at our Silchar centre where brands like Royal Enfield, Yamaha, Future Group, Eureka Forbes, Mahindra Finance and many more interacted with students and over hundred candidates got placed.
What happens when passion meets patriotism? Commis Chef batch candidates of Silchar centre etched the Tricolor flag with fresh vegetables on the Republic Day. The day witnesses great enthusiasm and participation from all the centres of Medhavi.
Medhavi Foundation PMKK Hailakandi, Assam was inaugurated by Hon’ble Kripanath Malla- Member of Parliament (Karimganj Assam Constituency) and in the presence of Smt. Shyamali Roy- Municipal Chairman (Hailakandi), Mr. Kulendra Nath Deka- Additional SP (Hailakandi), Mr. Sekhar Dey- OSD (Officer on special duty Chief Minister) and Mr. Ajay Dutta- Member State Commission (Assam) for protection of child rights.
Medhavi Foundation PMKK Bongaigaon, Assam was inaugurated in the presence of Mr Pankaj Kr Kakati- Additional SP (Bongaigaon), Mr. Shah Dullah Khan- Inspector of School (Bongaigaon), Mr. Amodh Kr She- Vice-principal Bongaigaon Law college & Mr. Moon Choudhary- Ward Commissioner.

Hailakandi had Smt. Keerthi Jalli (IAS) – Deputy Commissioner (Hailakandi) gracing the day’s celebration with her presence. SIlchar centre was graced by the motivational speech by Dr. Aditi Nath from Assam University Social Work Department. Candidates shared their own experiences and the Contai centre emphasised on Gender-Equal skilling society.

Adapting to the paradigm shift around the world due to COVID19, Medhavi Foundation students exhibited and employed its skill training of Sewing Machine Operator (Knits) at Contai into manufacturing and distributing masks to the local communities.
Adorning the environment through plantation, students of the Medhavi family performed various activities in and around their homes on World Environment Day.
Mizoram witnessed one of the strictest and the most disciplined lockdowns in India due to COVID-19. The Medhavi Aizawl centre team made and shared cookies with the local task force to express our gratitude and to salute the spirit of all those who made this possible.
Keeping in mind the need to maintain balance between physical and mental health, the Medhavi Family embraces Yoga as part of life. Bongaigaon, Silchar, Contai, Hazaribagh and Hailakandi centres become the first ones to adopt the motto ‘Yoga se Hoga’.
